Define :global_known_hosts_file :user_known_hosts_file options with a list of valid host_file paths. The KnownHost implementation concatenates 2 list, and expects every path to be a valid path in the list.

I received this book from my Grandmother 6 months before she died. She INSISTED I read it…and I kept saying “one day.” Finally, I decided to read it. I knew what she was then trying to do–prepare me for her death. Losing her was like losing my best friend, my mother, my child, but I can honestly say that as I read this book every year to my senior high school students, I grow, I accept, I learn more. Isn’t it strange that most young find the elderly outdated, of little use? When in reality, they are the treasure trove of wisdom, love, compassion, and insight.

It does sound like something from Kelly, but it’s been a while since I read the book and I can’t recall whether Kelly said it.
If you can’t find anything from Google, I guess your best bet is to get the e-book version and search for that line.

I am trying to find & verify this quote of Kelly Johnson’s, (date, time, to whom and location) which goes something like this: Kelly avoided committees. Asked about them and why, not likely the exact wording: “Working within the safety of committees you may avoid utter failure but you will also avoid utter success”.

Good to hear about your opportunity to visit Japan, I’m sure you will have a great experience.

Japan has a mix of conservative and modern communities, but I don’t think they’ll put any restriction on shorts. They do wear shorts over there.
My suggestion is for you to pack based on the weather over there, how hot/cold it will be and prepare accordingly.

Re language, if you have a small pocket dictionary or a smartphone app, then it doesn’t hurt to have it around, specially if you’re going to try to communicate with them (I assume you will since you’re doing a school exchange program). If you’re just traveling around and are limited to minimum conversation, then a dictionary is unnecessary.

I’m going to Japan for two week this summer. Our sister city is Tsubame, Japan and my school has an exchange program with them. I am so excited to go, especially since last year was canceled because of the Tsuname. My biggest thing right now is packing. I’ve heard they are conservative and dont wear shorts, even long shorts? Can you help me on what kinds of things to bring to wear? And that language thing you posted really helped, im not as worried now.
